The hotel is located in a great spot close to Tuscany, France, Germany, and Italy, as well as Castiglione Del Lago.

Clean place with reasonably good staff members and valley views. Stunning and excellent spot near a 4 1/2 star restaurant, Castiglione Del Lago, beautiful town and Cortona and Castiglione Fiorentino. Also, on a hill away from the main road. Excellent food in the attached restaurant. Simply no complaints whatsoever, absolutely amazing stay.

Gorgeous view. Charming decor. Great pool. The owners are SO nice.
I wish the sweet owner would have mentioned we had air conditioning in our room. When we were shown our room, she just opened the window, so we assumed there was no air conditioning and then spend the night unable to sleep because we were SO hot!

The hosts Angelo and Julia were very helpful, infomative and interesting. A beautifaul hotel in a scenic hillside location with pool and superb Tuscan food which was very reasonably priced. Central location for Florence, Perugia, Assisi, Sienna and very close to Cortona and Castiglion with regular train services. We felt very relaxed during our stay.
A wee bit difficult to find as it is in the country a couple of hundred metres off the road between Cortona and Castilglion - we were initially lost but put the coordinates in to the gps and then found it ok.

Frendly, relaxed, clean and very welcoming.Food was as good as that in the local restaurants and also a more reasonable price. The Villa is in a picturesque location which was perfectly placed to visit many places of interest including Florence, Siena , Assisi and Cortona. The owners were extremely helpful when we were planning trips and could speak English really well.

I booked the apartment with swimming pool views, everything was really good. the location was comfortable and perfect, on the Tuscan valley, convenient to go everywhere. - It was right by the slope, a hill, and Tuscany for that special experience.

Stayed for one night when travelling to Rome but would not mind to return. Great location, friendly staff, good restaurant.
The atmosphere in the restaurant could be more cosy (less light)

I can't compliment the place highly enough and would recommend it to all. Very comfortable without being 'luxury', fantastic swimming pool with all-day sun (but, comically, a local law requires wearing a shower cap!), lovely terrace dining area with mixed-bag food (extremely salty pasta but the best steak ever) and really fabulous self-made wine - a highlight. The views from Villa Schiatti are unmissable and the owner, Angelo Marciano, and all the staff are charming; he is a real expertand obviously cares deeply. It was all Heaven and the nearby town of Cortona is an absolute treat. I shall be back.
Aircon must be specified when you book - watch out, it costs €10 per night extra.
